The Special Tomato Soft-Touch Sitter is an adaptive seating and positioning system designed to provide comfortable, supportive seating for children with mild to moderate positioning needs. Its contoured design provides support to the pelvis, trunk, back, and head to help promote a stable, functional seated position during everyday activities. Improved positioning can provide a more supportive base for reaching, communication, play, learning, feeding routines, social interaction, and other activities of daily living while helping reduce the effort required to maintain an upright seated position. The Sitter is made from Special Tomato’s soft-to-the-touch material, which is comfortable against the body while also being durable, fluid-impermeable, antimicrobial, latex-free, and easy to clean—making it well suited for repeated daily use. Attachment straps allow the Sitter to be secured to an appropriate stable chair or compatible Special Tomato base, providing flexibility for use throughout daily routines. Depending on the individual’s needs, the Soft-Touch Sitter can be paired with compatible positioning and base options to support participation at home, school, therapy, and other settings.
